L’équipier secouriste est une personne formée et entrainée, capable de prendre en charge une ou plusieurs victimes, dans le cas d’un accident, d‘un malaise ou d’une aggravation brutale d’une maladie.
Il agit :
– en binôme, comme premier intervenant dans le cadre d’un point d’alerte ou de premiers secours.
– en équipe, a partir d’un dispositif préventif de secours ou au sein d’une équipe de transport d’urgence.
Toute personne qui désire avoir une activité professionnelle, bénévole ou volontaire au sein d’une structure de sécurité civile
Il existe aujourd’hui deux niveaux de formation initiale pour les secouristes en équipe :
– PSE 1 : Premiers Secours en Équipe de niveau 1 (40h)
– PSE 2 : Premiers Secours en Equipe de niveau 2 (30h)
